Imaging Solutions
Seeing is believing – we make it happen through our
professional experience and customized equipment.
Our Methods
The results of your projects depend to a great degree of knowledge as well as using the right methods. At ImaGene-iT we have a toolbox full of professional methods which lays the foundation for a sustainable and thorough research. The earlier we get involved, the more we can do to create a successful project with high value.
Through our methods, we help you make better informed decisions. Here are some possibilities:
• Near Infrared Detection
• Digital Pathology
• Quantitation
• Wound studies
• Internalisation studies on a cellular level
• Digital image Analysis and Processing
• Molecular detection with multiple fluorescence possibilities
NIR Detection
Near Infrared Detection is a method that we have developed to be used in our microscopes. When working with living cells (in vivo) you want to study different processes. Through this method we can for example follow tumor growth in a very exact way – hour by hour. This is done through an infrared marker that can provide data far into the tissue.
Following this, we can harvest organs and investigate further into cancer cells and possible metastasis to other parts of the body. Through this method, it is also possible to measure many different markers, in a way that is not directly visible by the human eye. Thus, we are able to create higher value for your projects.
Digital Pathology
This is an efficient and sustainable method which facilitates smart collaboration. We start the investigations and detect the different markers. Then we send the images to you, where you can make annotations and mark the areas of interest. The images are then sent back to us where we focus on the selected areas, making different analyses on a deeper level. Finally, we will send you a detailed report where we compare the test group with the control group.
Working with only digital data is not only efficient. It is sustainable and adds value to the project in every step.
Quantitation
In this method we integrate other experimental and clinical data with the imaging results.
Quantitative data is best combined with a qualitative analysis. After a qualitative assessment is done by looking into the microscope, we can add extra value through a digital quantitation and bioimage analysis. Through our equipment we can analyze the content in the images with its markers, make calculations and count objects like cells. Then we will analyze the qualitative and quantitative investigations together and see whether they are pointing in the same direction. Based on this we will get to a solid conclusion.
This method can also be done on objects like a web camera. The possibilities are endless, as long as we can take an image with our equipment.
In-House Support
ImaGene-iT offers consultant services and support for your project, lab group, or imaging facility. We can assist you through all the different phases of your projects. However, the earlier in the process we can start the collaboration, the more value we can provide for your projects. Read more about our consulting services.
